Words are not enough to express my heartfelt thanks to you and your staff for the successful outcome of my surgery. The compassion and care shown to me and my family by everyone made the journey through this most trying time much easier. Never having been faced with anything more serious than a bad case of bronchitis up to this point on my life, the diagnosis of prostate cancer was a terrible shock causing much fear and anxiety. Even though knowing all that was to occur was at times unpleasant to think about I greatly appreciated being kept informed and reassured that all would lead to a positive conclusion.
As you know, my initial appointment with you was only to get another opinion. I was still wrestling with all the facts and other views I'd been presented with at the point but after listening to you and having all my questioned answered I made the decision right then and there when you were called away for a few minutes. Looking back now I know it was the proper one and the only logical path to pursue.
The decision to have the surgery was the hardest one I have ever had to make but thanks to you and your wonderful staff it was made a bit easier. I'd like to share my experience with others and give back in some way what was given to me. I would be more than willing to share my experiences someone else who is facing this most difficult choice. If there is any way I can be of assistance, please let me know.
