It took me about a year or so to put this book together. And of course, this pandemic helped. Because I thought: Why are men always sicker? At every age, when you look men are sicker than women. Men live five years less than women. I do not know if you knew that or not. Anxiety, liver disease, many other chronic diseases are more common among men. The reason for this is that we do not go for a screening.

Benjamin (60, Norwalk, Conn.) and Haeger (26, East Troy, Wisc.) are first time winners of the award that was first presented in 1961. They were feted at a celebratory luncheon that included family and guests in the Model Room of the New York Yacht Club in Manhattan. In honor of their outstanding achievements each was presented a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master timepiece and a framed print of them in action from US Sailing.

Study Shows Possible Connection Between Circumcision and Prostate Cancer Prevention

Prostate cancer expert Dr. David Samadi discusses a new observational study that shows that men who are circumcised at an early age may have a lower risk of developing prostate cancer later in life than those who are not.

Dr. Samadi is quick to point out that the study is observational and does not show a definitive cause and effect relationship between circumcision and cancer rates. He goes on to explain that if such a link does exist it can be speculated that the cause is a lower rate of transmission of sexual transmitted diseases, such as HPV, among circumcised men. HPV infection is known to cause various forms of cancer such as cervical cancer and throat cancer.
