September is prostate cancer awareness month. It’s the second most common disease for men in the USA. About 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed in 2017, according to the American Cancer Society.

At present, CAT scans, MRIs, Biopsy’s & Invasive methods are sued to detect cancer.

The 10 minute at home test is still at clinical trial stages. Once the test becomes available, using a drop of saliva cancers can be detected in as little as 10 minutes.

The test is currently being tried for lung cancer detection. Dr. David Samadi states that it will be available for diseases such as stomach cancer & prostate cancer.

Can Prostate Cancer Be Detected Using A Urine Test?

Dr. David Samadi states that prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men next to skin cancer and 230,000 men are diagnosed to have prostate cancer each year.

The current method of diagnosis is using the PSA blood test.
